Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2004 - A Photo Report, Part 1 (page 4)
by Dave and Carol Clark

A new record cleaning system from Groove Grips. Not quite ready for primetime, but allows an alternative to cleaning records and shows much promise in terms of the quality of rinse applied to the vinyl after the cleaning process.

Headphones are still alive courtesy of Single Power Audio with lots of headphone amps to choose from. We have a review of the earlier Supra unit in this issue and have been promised another unit for review.

Your choice of stepped attenuators and tubes.

Mikhail Rotenberg of Single Power Audio. A really nice and straight-up guy!

A shot from the mezzanine of the live FM broadcast courtesy of Mike Pappas.

Janet Harley (the other Harley, as in Robert of TAS) keeping things light and fun.

The Art Audio, Cabasse, and Gill Design room sounded really, really good. I mean I know it is a show and all, and rooms either work or they don't and who should expect all that much as, it is a show and well... it is a show after all! But the new Cabasse Bahias matted with the Art Audio Carrisa amp sounded wonderfully musical.

The Art Audio Diavalo.

Dale Fontenot of Cabasse North America with the Cabasse Bahia—killer sound for under $6k. A must review... Dale?

A bevy of Gill Design electronics with Cabasse speakers. Magic Cup cable suspenders are in the lower right corner!

Speaker stands from Star Sound Tech (or Audio Points) along with the Harmonic HP-110-V1 amplifier and Caravelle speakers.

The room aglow in sound and light. Really cool stuff!

More to come (like another 100 or so images)!
