Synergistic Research debuted many new products at RMAF including Galileo Universal Speaker Cells and interconnect cells, PowerCell 4, Basic AC Precision power cable, Tesla SE power cables, Galileo Element interconnect, and more. They featured the Ayon Titan integrated amplifier and CD 05 CD/preamplifier, and used YG Acoustics Carmel loudspeakers.

The Audio Alternative showed Vandersteen Audio 7 loudspeakers, $45,000. Audio Research products included the Anniversary Edition Reference preamplifier, $24,995, Reference 210 amplifiers, $19,900, Reference Phono 2, $11,995, Reference CD8, $9995, and DAC 8, $4995. Cabling by AudioQuest.

Jeff Joseph looking for that elusive track.

The fantastic sounding Joseph Audio system wired with Cardas. Amazing sound from these somewhat diminutive loudspeakers... wow.

The Audio Alternative again with Wilson Audio Sophie Series III loudspeakers, $16,900. Also in the room was Rega Research, PS Audio, Linn Hi Fi, Bryston Limited, AudioQuest, and QuadraSpire.

deHavilland Mercury III preamplifier, $4995, KE50A amplifiers, $9995 a pair, and Model 222 preamplifier, $2295. An Ampex Model 350 studio tape transport listed as priceless was part of this display. Sonist Concerto 3 loudspeakers, they had the all-wood version, $4195 a pair. Completing the system an Esoteric X-03 SACD/CD player and Kubala-Sosna cabling.

The Tweek Geek system featured M2Tech, Bybee, Kaplan Cables, ModWright, and Vivid loudspeakers.

The Al Stiefel Room featured Bamberg Audio, ModWright, and Soundstring cabling.

Artemis Labs room with Sean Ta at the center.

On display from Artemis, the SA-1S turntable, $11,000, SA-1 turntable, $7800, PX-1 and Pl-1S phono preamplifiers, Lx-1 and La-1 linestage preamplifiers, and the SP-1 power amplifier. Tonearms were by Artemis Labs and Shroder, cartridge was by Artemis Labs.

Artemis Labs used Verity Audio Leonore loudspeakers and cables by Purist Audio Design.
